Some mirrors are better left broken. Others deserve to be smashed all over again.
I Legion, the project led by Fred Riverin, returns with “Broken Mirrors Pt. II”, a completely reworked version of the 2023 track, rebuilt from the ground up with new drums, new bass, re-recorded guitars, a new guest guitarist and a massive sonic upgrade.
And this time, Fred is bringing some serious company along for the ride.
Chris Clancy (As I Lay Dying) takes on guest vocals, adding an extra dose of emotion and intensity, while Matt Perrin (AngelMaker) steps in to deliver the guitar solo.
Blending punk-rock energy with the weight of heavy metal, “Broken Mirrors Pt. II” dives into mental exhaustion, memories that refuse to disappear and the strange comfort that can sometimes be found at rock bottom. Melodic guitars, a hook-heavy chorus and a harder edge turn that struggle into a raw, catchy anthem.
Mixed and mastered by Sweep Blast Studios, “Broken Mirrors Pt. II” proves that sometimes the best way to deal with a broken mirror is to rebuild it louder.
