Withering The Core fuse modern metal with dark atmospheres, orchestral textures and emotionally charged lyrics. Heavy riffs, melodic choruses, crushing breakdowns and verses shaped by rap underpin a sound that explores human existence, identity, isolation and the tension between reason and instinct.
Founded by Ángel “Winchester”, the project began with Antares (2021), followed by Dear Agony (2023) and the debut full-length Don’t Fall Asleep (2025). In 2026, Withering The Core became a settled lineup united by a shared artistic vision, reaching the finals of Wacken Metal Battle Spain and coming close to representing Spain at Wacken Open Air.
Their identity extends beyond the music into a theatrical live experience. Defined stage characters, makeup, costumes and conceptual scenery bring their lyrical universe to life, while carefully scripted performances draw the audience into the show. Now joining Art Gates Records, Withering The Core enter their next chapter with new music, videos and a Spanish tour in preparation.
