CARCEROUS

Hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria, Carcerous is a devastating extreme metal force that seamlessly fuses the muscle of classic Death Metal with the cold, lacerating atmosphere of Black Metal, enriched by subtle elements of Doom and Thrash.

The project originally ignited in mid-2023 as a two-man, studio-only endeavor by Ivan Kozarev and Konstantin Milev. Driven by a shared ambition to explore darker and more aggressive sonic landscapes, the duo shifted their full focus to Carcerous by the spring of 2024. Seeking to transform this studio vision into a full-fledged, crushing live act, they expanded the lineup later that year with the addition of Kristian Dimitrov on drums and Anton Dimitrov on bass, prompting Konstantin to step up as the dedicated, fierce frontman of the band.

Carcerous made their first mark in February 2025 with the independent release of the New Age God EP, immediately hitting the stage weeks later and conquering venues with non-stop live activity. In April 2026, the band unleashed their self-released debut full-length album, Doomsday Factory. Mixed and mastered by Martin Dimov, the record showcased highly polished, professional production and complex lyrical themes diving into human darkness, religious persecution, and the cold minds of serial killers. Singles like "To The Last" established their trademark sound: a brilliant transition into unapologetic, top-tier Black/Death metal territory.

Now, after signing a global deal with Art Gates Records, Carcerous is prepared to give Doomsday Factory a well-deserved deluxe treatment while writing a powerful new chapter, looking ahead toward their next massive album slated for 2027.
