Carcerous are set to release Doomsday Factory Deluxe Edition, an expanded edition of their full-length, on November 13th, 2026 via Art Gates Records.
Doomsday Factory represents a major step forward in Carcerous’ musical evolution, bringing together the raw intensity of Black and Death Metal with a darker, heavier and more focused approach.
The Deluxe Edition expands the original release with additional material, including live recordings, offering a broader look into the band’s creative and live identity.
Lyrically, the album explores dark stories of murder, mystery, war, religious persecution and horror, drawing inspiration from both real and fictional events.
The album’s visual identity was created by Yasen Stoilov, an artist known for his work in movie VFX, books, video games, game and level design.
The artwork for both the original and Deluxe Editions is Stoilov’s direct interpretation of the lyrics of the album’s title track, Doomsday Factory.
In the band’s own words:
“The DDF art is Yasen’s personal direct interpretation of the lyrics for the title track of the album — an overview of humanity’s lust for power and drive for war and the cold and efficient machine that makes it all happen.”
For Carcerous, the artwork perfectly reflects the atmosphere and character of the record:
“To us the artwork captures perfectly the tone of the album — dark, precise, fiendish, powerful.”
The image represents an unrelenting process of creation, one that continually produces deadly tools driven by humanity’s pursuit of power and its destructive appetite for war.
