NARAKA

Naraka was founded in 2019 by Jean-Philippe Porteux, the band's guitarist. Naraka's style is a mix of modern metal and death-metal with symphonic and sometimes even electro touches.

Although Naraka’s debut album marks their official entry, the band members are seasoned veterans of the French metal scene, bringing a powerful and sophisticated sound to the table. Hailing from Paris, Naraka combines dark symphonic elements reminiscent of SepticFlesh with intense death metal, creating a dramatic and atmospheric experience without losing focus on their core instrumentation. This blend of expertise and ambition positions Naraka as one of the most promising modern acts emerging from France’s metal scene.

Naraka toured throughout Europe, supporting Cradle of Filth, Alcest, Nile, and Krisiun.
