WIDESPREAD DISEASE

Formed in 2011 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Widespread Disease has built a solid reputation as one of the most relentless acts in the French deathcore scene.

From their early years, the band made a name for themselves sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed acts such as Whitechapel, Thy Art Is Murder, and The Black Dahlia Murder, always delivering raw, straightforward live performances defined by intensity and authenticity.

The band’s discography began with the EPs Infection (2011) and Death of Mnemosyne (2014), followed by their first full-length Chaos (2017). In 2021, Widespread Disease took a bold step forward with the release of their third EP, where they introduced orchestral elements, bringing new depth and atmosphere to their crushing sound.

Today, Widespread Disease continues to push its musical identity further, staying true to its deathcore roots while evolving into a heavier, darker and more immersive sonic experience.
