The Swedish Melodic Death Metal force Northborn returns with “Tale of Lies”, the third and final single taken from their upcoming self-titled album, “Northborn”, due out on May 22nd, 2026 via Art Gates Records.
Accompanying the release is an intense official playthrough video showcasing the raw energy, precision, and technical power of the quintet.
Following the success of their previous onslaughts, "The Wolf's Curse" and "Yokai of the Lake", Northborn now delves into the darkest corners of human nature. "Tale of Lies" is described by the band as a brutal sonic exploration of deceit:
"With words of venom and poison in mind, lies ensnare and deceive the purest of hearts and intentions. Join us in this tale of the dark side of our mind, where no loyalties or bonds of old weigh heavy. It is a melodic death metal journey into the hidden parts of a pure soul which no one dares to reveal."
