Bio

Monastery is a death metal band from Hungary founded in Zalaegerszeg in 1989.

They were credited with the first officially released Hungarian death metal album "Far from Christ".

After 5 albums released, the band went on standby for several years and returned in 2021 stronger and renewed, releasing their EP Chimera and a follow-up album entitled Divine Damnation along with many videos.

Monastery released their latest album "From Blood" on September 22nd, 2023 via Art Gates Records worldwide.
