The Curse Made Flesh is a death metal project founded by bassist Joost van der Graaf (Pestilence, I Chaos, Dew-Scented, Sinister, Creepmime) after his departure from Pestilence in 2024. Joining forces with Spanish guitarist Javier Valdi (Carceri) and drummer Fons van Dijk (A Goat As Our Shepherd), the trio later completed the lineup with vocalist Morrison de Boer (Inferum).
The band delivers a razor-sharp and psychedelic approach to death metal, blending crushing intensity with a philosophical and uncompromising artistic vision. Their debut album, “To Each Their Hell”, was recorded in 2025 at Toneshed Recording Studio in the Netherlands with producer Erwin Hermsen, and is scheduled for release in 2026.
With a sound rooted in raw honesty and intensity, The Curse Made Flesh aim to confront inner darkness and push beyond genre conventions, bringing their relentless and immersive death metal experience to audiences worldwide.
