Art Gates Records nos enorgullecemos de anunciar la incorporación de Casus Belli a la familia de talentos que componen nuestro roster.
Casus Belli surgió durante la pandemia de Covid-19 como un proyecto entre Juan Diego Ortihuela y Carlos Álvarez (CharlieBass). Actualmente, Pacho Brea (voz) y Nitro Destruction (batería) se han unido a la banda para actuaciones en directo y la grabación de su próximo álbum.
La banda se inspira en bandas de los años 80 y 90 como Gamma Ray, Helloween y Edguy, pero añadiendo un sonido actual y un toque personal a su música.
Su álbum debut cuenta con colaboraciones de varios artistas, desde José Andrëa, Isra Ramos y Tete Novoa a nivel nacional, hasta Ripper Owens, Ralf Scheepers y Henning Basse internacionalmente.

"La primera vez que escuché a la banda, me quedé encantado con la versatilidad y garra de sus composiciones. Si luego además sumamos que Pacho Brea está al frente, este combo no puede fallar en su conquista de la escena del Heavy Metal. Ansioso por el futuro de esta banda tan prometedora".
En palabras de Casus Belli esta alianza significa:
"Casus Belli arranca durante la temporada del encierro pandémico, más que como una banda, como un proyecto musical en el que Diego y un servidor, nos rodeamos de varios amigos que prestaron su voz para editar el primer LP, «Ad Calendas Graecas», como cantantes de la talla de José Andrëa (mago de oz, uroboros…) Isra Ramos (Avalanch) Tete Novoa (Saratoga) o Henning Basse (Metalium) entre otros… Como la industria de la música no es lo que era y también son otros tiempos, incluso con este plantel y sin medios, es complicadísimo darse a conocer. Con lo cual para nosotros es una gran oportunidad poder dar ese empujón que nos falta gracias a AGR, un sello que cuenta con el aval de muchas bandas refutadas que sí que están consiguiendo hacerse ese hueco que se merecen dentro del mundo del rock nacional e internacional. Queda decir que empezamos esta etapa nueva con una ilusión terrible y unas expectativas puestas en esta plataforma de empuje, que es AGR, que pueda darnos paso a un nuevo nivel en la carrera de la industria musical."

Art Gates Records is proud to announce the addition of Casus Belli to the family of talents that make up our roster.
Casus Belli emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic as a project between Juan Diego Ortihuela and Carlos Álvarez (CharlieBass). Currently, Pacho Brea (vocals) and Nitro Destruction (drums) have joined the band for live performances and the recording of their upcoming album.
The band takes inspiration from the 80s and 90s bands like Gamma Ray, Helloween, and Edguy, Casus Belli adds a current sound and personal touch to their music.
Their debut album features collaborations with various artists, from José Andrëa, Isra Ramos, and Tete Novoa nationally, to Ripper Owens, Ralf Scheepers, and Henning Basse internationally.
