Italian heavy metal project Ironwill continues to pave the way toward their upcoming album, Reforged Within (due May 29th, 2026), with the release of their second single, "Gravity", out now via Art Gates Records.
Following the introduction of their sound with the previous track "Infinity", Ironwill now shifts gears toward a more grounded and visceral territory. While "Infinity" served as a first glimpse into the project's philosophical universe, "Gravity" arrives as a heavy, mid-tempo battle cry that tackles the struggle of the human condition head-on.
"Gravity" is a raw exploration of the invisible forces that anchor us to our lowest points—the weight of the past, the pull of fear, and the mental chains that hinder progress. It represents the moment of decision: to be crushed by the weight or to fight against it.
Project leader Salvo “Ironwill” Dell’Arte explains the concept:
"In the darkness of the labyrinth, where doubt whispers and shadows linger, the choice remains: fall… or defy gravity and ascend. It’s about rising when everything drags you down and forging strength through the very struggle that tries to break you."
This powerful narrative is brought to life through a visually immersive lyric video created by Federico Palermo, which perfectly complements the track’s atmosphere of defiance.
