Hungarian death metal veterans Monastery strike with Revenge Is Mine, out worldwide today, November 6, 2026, via Art Gates Records. Across eight tracks, the band channel their aggression into a new chapter forged through decades of dedication to extreme metal.

Cryptopsy guitarist and producer Christian Donaldson handles mixing and mastering, bringing his extensive experience in extreme metal to the record. Music comes from Krisztián Tóth and Róbert Kovács, with lyrics by Roland Kovács, except for Divine Damnation, penned by Krisztián Mórocz.

Ahead of the album’s release, Monastery paved the way with Fall Apart, Strangled in Torture, Chase the Heretics and, most recently, I Woke Dead. Together, these singles offered a ferocious glimpse into Revenge Is Mine, setting the stage for the full death metal assault unveiled today.

Founded in Zalaegerszeg in 1989, Monastery helped establish Hungarian death metal with Far from Christ, credited as the country’s first officially released death metal album. With Revenge Is Mine, that legacy pushes forward. Turn it up and let the reckoning begin.
