The cosmic balance skews toward darkness once more. Breaking a long period of calculated dormancy, the black metal entity known as Moorah re-emerges to rewrite the boundaries of extreme sonic philosophy. Their resurrection begins with the unveiling of a profound piece of art: the new single "Eternal Ahasver", coupled with an unsettling, avant-garde cinematic visual piece. This marks the initial step toward their highly anticipated full-length creation, The Beast Called Ego, scheduled to strike through Art Gates Records on November 6th, 2026.
"Eternal Ahasver" explores the suffocating weight of an aimless spirit doomed to wander through a repetitive and futile cycle of existence. Yet, through its jagged architecture, dissonant layers, and oppressive atmosphere, Moorah carves a path toward spiritual mutiny. A severe call to smash the modern idols of the self and begin the definitive ascent. It serves as an eerie reminder that every word whispered and every deed committed in this realm actively architectures our ultimate retribution on the other side.
The visual counterpart to this offering is a haunting nightmare in its own right. Edited by Deazy Editing with art direction and grim graphic work by Count Hroozah, the video is heavily rooted in dark surrealism. It draws direct inspiration from the legendary 1970 cult short film "Ossuary" by the iconic surrealist mastermind Jan Švankmajer, capturing the band's claustrophobic and cerebral essence.
The spider's web has been meticulously woven, and the concrete anti-temple is ready to be dismantled.
Moorah has returned not to walk familiar paths, but to incinerate the complacency of the modern extreme metal landscape.
