THE DEMON HAS YOUR VOICE: MOORAH CONFRONT THE BEAST WITH DEMON ZA KRKEM

MOORAH release their new single and official video, Demon Za Krkem, today through Art Gates Records. The black metal band’s fourth single heralds The Beast Called Ego, their upcoming album, out November 6th, 2026.

Translated as “Demon on Your Neck”, Demon Za Krkem portrays a sinister presence that steals its victim’s voice and silences their conscience. Between possession and resistance, the song urges its subject to break free and rekindle the fading spark within. To confront the beast, first reclaim the voice it has taken.

Filmed entirely on a smartphone at an abandoned Cold War missile base near Prague, the video embraces MOORAH’s DIY spirit. The site’s earlier use as a Wehrmacht base adds to its unsettling atmosphere. Written and directed by Count Hroozah, it stars Count Hroozah and Maania, who also handled filming, with editing by Deazy Editing. Maania fronts Sukkhu and leads the solo black metal project Bloodcraft Ritual.

As the fourth advance from The Beast Called Ego, Demon Za Krkem follows Eternal Ahasver, Left Hand of Darkness and Breitspurbahn Egotrip, drawing listeners deeper into the forthcoming album before its arrival on November 6th.
