What happens when ambition, desire and ego take control?

Today, Québec City’s modern progressive hard rock band Mr. Weather unveil their brand-new album “7”, now available worldwide on all digital platforms via Art Gates Records.

Built as a concept album inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, 7 invites listeners into a symbolic universe where each track explores a different psychological conflict. Through powerful melodies, layered vocal arrangements and progressive dynamics, the band craft a theatrical journey that balances technical precision with emotional intensity.

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at David Lizotte Studio in Québec City, and produced by Mr. Weather together with David Lizotte, resulting in the band’s most mature and cohesive work to date.

Visually, the album artwork created by Karoline Morin reimagines The Last Supper through a darker allegorical lens, where each animal represents one of the sins and the mysterious “7” marks the entrance into the story’s universe.

Following a series of singles that introduced the album’s conceptual narrative, “7” now stands as the complete experience: a modern progressive hard rock record that expands Mr. Weather’s sound while diving deep into the human psyche.
