Six Burning Knives presents their new single "Gallows," a powerful indictment of the darkness that hides behind the brightest dawn. With a potent blend of groove and electronic elements, blastbeats and breakdowns, the band merges melody and raw intensity, liberating choruses, and vocals rich with nuance, all wrapped in a dreamlike, slightly retro-futuristic atmosphere.
"Gallows" captures the essence of late '90s and early 2000s music with a modern twist, becoming the judge, jury, and executioner all at once. This socio-cultural critique highlights the modern system’s dehumanization, where people are reduced to mere numbers. The song reflects how the imposed and desperately pursued notion of "success" has turned into humanity’s downfall, eroding its essence. It tells the daily story of imprisonment, judgment, and execution, where the false dream pursued inevitably becomes a nightmare.
