Six Burning Knives says goodbye to their album "The Øath" with their most intimate song and videoclip to date: "The Void" (Acoustic Version).
In the band's own words:
"The Void" is one of the hardest and most personal songs on the album, and that's why it was the option we chose to take to the acoustic terrain; thanks to the healing capacity that time has, we considered that this piece deserved a more mature version on an emotional level, leaving aside that raging original impotence embodied through distortion, a demolishing percussive line and guttural vocals.
With this video we wanted to literally show a more human image of Six, to pay homage to all the loved ones who have left this existential plane and to open our arms to the public with our most heartfelt empathy.
Grieving is a very hard and truly complex process -every person lives it in their own way-, but when the time comes we have to let go, trust and keep on walking the path, something that has a clear parallelism with this LP to which we say "farewell".
The Øath is over...
