Mr. Weather returns with “Gold”, a new single that explores the destructive power of greed and the toxic relationship between ambition and money. Dark and intense, the track continues the band’s psychological approach to human desire and moral decay.

At the center of Gold lies a character who abandons his former life to chase what he believes is success, reshaping himself through wealth, luxury and appearances. As power grows, so does distortion: he begins to exploit those around him, convincing himself that his actions are justified, even generous. Desire for status becomes obsession, and morality quietly erodes beneath the shine.

Lyrically, the song unfolds through contrasting perspectives: what the protagonist tells his employees versus what he truly thinks in the moment, revealing the fracture between self-justification and reality.

With Gold, Mr. Weather transform greed into sound, exposing both its allure and its cost.
