Melodic death metal force Northborn unveil the official video for their brand-new single “The Wolf’s Curse”, a powerful glimpse into the band’s upcoming self-titled album Northborn, set for release on May 22nd, 2026 via Art Gates Records.

With riffs as sharp as Viking axes, relentless energy and a Nordic atmosphere cold enough to freeze an entire fjord, “The Wolf’s Curse” rises as a true melodeath anthem. The track ventures into the darkest corners of the human psyche, telling the tale of those inner demons that, sooner or later, decide to step out for a walk… usually when the full moon is high and there’s a hint of blood in the air.

The video captures Northborn in their natural habitat: on stage, unleashing the full fury of the track with the intensity of a pack in the middle of the hunt.

Musically, Northborn draw from the legacy of early-2000s melodic death metal and propel it into the present with renewed energy, crafting a sound that will feel instantly familiar to fans of Children of Bodom, Norther and Ensiferum.

The single was composed by Björn Norman Larsson, Tobey Lagerqvist, Ture Aspelin, Andreas Lundgren and Felix Wahlund, with lyrics written by Björn Norman Larsson.
