Today, Finnish metal force Bloody Falls tears down those doors with their second single, "Mother, Your Son Is Bleeding", a devastating preview of their upcoming album "IV" (due June 5th, 2026, via Art Gates Records). The result is a sound that feels like a physical blow (heavy, suffocating, yet undeniably melodic).
While most songs about a mother’s love celebrate a "pure bond," Stavros Mathios (the mastermind behind the music and lyrics) takes us into the shadows of that myth.
This is the perspective of a child trapped in a world of cruelty, begging for a protection that never comes. The most chilling part isn't the violence; it's the indifference.
The visual experience, shot by Timo Pukki and edited by Mikael Björkman & Stavros Mathios, acts as a window into this domestic prison. It is a feverish display of teeth on the floor and awkward smiles that mask unspeakable trauma. It challenges the viewer to look at the "flesh and blood" that is suffering while the world looks away.
