Acclaimed industrial metal band Mind Driller announce the forthcoming release of their fourth studio album entitled 'The Void', due for release in January 2024.
The band have revealed exclusive details about this new opus, which has been in development for some time and represents a significant shift in their musical approach.
Mind Driller have been exploring new avenues and have ventured out to bring a breath of fresh air to both their image and their signature sound. The band commented:
"For this fourth album, we have opened ourselves up more than ever to new suggestions in an attempt to bring a breath of fresh air to our sound. We hope that our audience will be the ones to qualify it".
The cover of 'The Void' created by Joe Arca (Arca Design), reflects the deep connection between the band and the recent events that have affected the entire world.
Mind Driller describes the cover poignantly:
"After being forced to interrupt our previous 'Involution' tour due to the pandemic and Covid-19, which wiped out many months of work, the members of MD went through very hard times where the absence of music in our lives created a 'VOID' in each of us. We thought that the quarantine periods and this bitter experience would make us change as a species, but far from it, we seem to be getting closer and closer to that black hole at the end of our existence".
