With their powerful blend of symphonic grandeur, melodic depth, and modern metal energy, Shatterheart forge a sound that is both cinematic and emotionally intense. The five-piece lineup, combine their experience and passion to deliver music that feels epic, elegant, and sincere.
Their new single and music video, “Betrayal,” marks the beginning of this exciting new chapter with Art Gates Records.
Written by Alicke Kostopoulou and composed by Johan Bergman, the track explores the emotional weight of deceit and the search for closure. Through a powerful narrative and soaring vocals, “Betrayal” captures the inner conflict between light and darkness, a theme brought to life in its visually striking video filmed by Liam Espinosa. Inspired by historical figures Mary, Queen of Scots and Queen Elizabeth I, the video portrays two opposing queens as symbols of emotional duality and strength.
