Bulgarian progressive metal band The A.X.E Project unveils “Taken”, the first single from their upcoming album “IV”, out on October 31st via Art Gates Records.

This track is a haunting journey into the realm of gothic and sci-fi storytelling, marking a bold step in the band’s sonic evolution as it blends intricate arrangements with cinematic darkness.

Driven by delicate yet intricate piano lines, Taken immerses listeners in the terrifying narrative of an alien abduction. Layers of stabbing, heavily stacked synths intertwine with crushing guitar riffs, while atmospheric melodies carve out a dense and immersive landscape.
