Grey Sky Bleed is a 4-piece melodic heavy metal band from Finland. Their roots go all the way to the 90’s when the band members started their musical journey together by playing heavy metal. Since then their paths diverged and each of them continued to work in music, some even making it a profession. The members of the band have been doing music in a large variety of genres, spanning from alternative rock to death metal and from electronic music to schlager. You could say the band members have a deep understanding of the nuances of various musical elements. Now the gang has returned to its roots and joined forces in the name of heavy metal!
In Grey Sky Bleed's music, you can hear echoes of the new wave of British heavy metal, progressive rock, as well as more modern expression. This means the band’s sound is built around heavy band playing, layered with stylish synth sounds and powerful melodic vocals. In addition to the music, the band's lyrics are not afraid to observe and take a stand on the problems of the modern world. Sometimes through your personal demons and sometimes more globally.
